Reduced Pressure Valve Assembly Backflow Preventers, Cast Iron, Large Diameter 2 1/2 - 10 Inch Sizes
Series 909 Large prevents the reverse flow of liquids in a plumbing system due to backpressure or backsiphonage where there is a potential health hazard. An exclusive relief valve design provides substantially improved relief valve discharge performance during emergency conditions of combined backsiphonage and backpressure. The seats are replaceable for economical repair. It consists of a cast iron body construction, bronze ball valve shutoffs, and bronze test cocks Large diameter 2 1/2 to 10 inch sizes.
The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek® technology, a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system designed to limit both microbial induced (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion.
