This 1 1/4 by 1 IN lead free dual check valve backflow preventer prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. It is designed for non-health hazard residential water system containment, continuous pressure applications and is installed immediately downstream of the residential water meter in a vertical or horizontal position. This valve consists of a lead free bronze body construction, two plastic replaceable check valves, stainless steel springs and 1 1/4 inch female meter thread (swivel) inlet by 1 inch NPT threaded female union outlet connections. The minimum working pressure is 10 psi (69 kPa) and the maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10 bar).
