This 6 inch MasterSeries (R) configurable design double check detector backflow preventer assembly prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. It is designed to be installed on fire protection systems to provide indications of system leakage or unauthorized water use. It has the capability of N and V configurations that reduce the installation footprint and reduce installation costs. This assembly consists of epoxy coated ductile iron body construction, two in-line independent check valves, replaceable check seats, ball valve test cocks, gallons per minute metered bypass, and domestic outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valves. The maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
