LFM116-31
Pressure Sustaining Control Valve with Solenoid (On-Off)
Series LFM116-31, LFM1116-31 Pressure Sustaining and Solenoid (On-Off) Control Valve is designed to permit flow when upstream pressure is above the adjustable setpoint of the control pilot, and throttle toward closed when upstream pressure falls below the adjustable setpoint. The valve also acts as a Solenoid On-Off Control Valve, opening to allow regulating control action or closing drip-tight as commanded by the solenoid pilot. When the valve installed in line connecting two distribution zones, the valve acts as a Pressure Sustaining Control Valve. When pressure in the upstream zone falls below the pilot setting, the valve modulates toward a closed position, sustaining pressure in the upstream zone.
Features
- Permits flow when upstream pressure is above the adjustable setpoint of the control pilot
- When installed "off the main line" on the branch of a tee, the valve serves as a Pressure Relief Control Valve
- When installed "in line" connecting two distribution zones, the valve acts as a Pressure Sustaining Control Valve
- Body and cover are constructed of strong and durable ductile iron (ASTM A536)
